Through natural materials, assemblages and mixed media approaches, I examine concepts such as identity, heritage and memory.

Drawing heavily from biological and ecological systems for inspiration, my personal aesthetics tend towards the use of nature-based materials and organic shapes and motifs. A penchant for historical archives shows through as well.

Familiar Tales, the artwork, is an exploration into the nature of collective memory, its role in preserving a familial narratives, and how it shapes a shared temporal identity. It comments on the role of forgetting in identity formation and community cohesion.
