This was taken in Old Bagan, Myanmar, capturing the destruction of the Aug 2016 earthquake that left 170 ancient temples in shambles. However, on a brighter note, Burmese volunteers from all parts of the country were starting to arrive to help rebuild the temples so as to earn Buddhist merit. It was a fine example of the natural cycle of destruction, renewal and creation.
